The number and variety of Hong Kong Trade Shows, Conventions and Fairs continues to rise as Hong Kong has established itself as one of the world's leading and most vibrant exhibition venues. Some of Hong Kong Fairs and Trade Shows are the largest of their kind in the world.

Hong Kong has two world-class exhibition venues, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wanchai, and the AsiaWorld Expo (AWE) in Lantau Island.

Please note that some of the events due to their nature are only open to trade visitors aged 18 and above.

Hong Kong Flower Show - Blossoms in Vivid Art - March 10 - 19, 2017

Hong Kong Flower Show
If you love flowers and greenery, this is a "don't miss". In the middle of the towering skyscrapers of the city, the Hong Kong Flower Show is a bright and fragrant oasis with elaborate displays of flowers and landscaped areas, put together by local and international organisations.

Throughout the show, floral demonstrations, cultural events and competitions are held, and it is certainly a great way to spend a half-day. This year's Theme is "Blossoms of Love" and the theme flower is the Rose, it is bound to be a very exquisite and delightful event.

When? March 10-19, 2017 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m.

The Hong Kong Electronics Fair - April 13-16, 2017

Hong Kong Electronics Fair Hall of Fame Exhibits

Organised by the HKTDC, this is Asia's largest Electronics Fair where innovative products are launched and where thousands of exhibitors and brands are represented.

The exhibitions are spread out into zones for easy navigation i.e. Home Appliances, Electronic Gaming, Solar Technology, Personal Electronics, etc.

There is also a "Small Order Zone" where hundreds of products and samples are available in small quantities.

The Hall of Fame, is the fair's premium section, showcasing over 500 of the world's leading brands, including Motorola, AEG, Alcatel, Coby, Daewoo, Westinghouse, Honeywell, Hewlett Packard, Philips, etc.

The Product Demo and Launch Pad is where new and innovative products are showcased.

When?: April 13-16, 2017

Admission: HK100 but free if you pre-register at the HKTDC website. Open to trade visitors, must be over 18 years old.

HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair 2017 - July 19-25, 2017

Hong Kong Book Fair

Organised by the HK Trade Development Council, it's not only books, books and more books on this week-long affair, lately the emphasis has also been on multimedia, e-books and e-learning resources.

Besides the publishers' exhibits, there is a range of cultural events including seminars and forums featuring English-language world-renowned writers.

There are over 500 exhibitors in the following categories:

  • Children's and Teen's
  • Multimedia and Electronic resources
  • Religious Books
  • Stationery

If you are a book worm, don't miss this chance to snatch some bargains (specially on the very last day of the fair)!

Ani-Com and Games Hong Kong - Summer 2017 dates TBA

Ani Com Hong Kong Exhibits

If you have teenagers you will not want to miss this one! Ani-Com and Games is Hong Kong's hottest event in the digital entertainment, comics, animation, video games and toys and collectibles arena and the most popular summer carnival in Hong Kong.

This fair is open to the public and packed with the latest in big wave trend-setting entertainment, this is one of the most prominent shows in Asia, and the target audience is between the ages of 12 and 30 years-old.

Don't miss the many events including stage forums and presentations, model kit competitions, comic Master's autograph sessions, etc.

Hong Kong Food Expo Expo 2017 - August 17-21, 2017

Hong Kong Food Expo
Hong Kong is the city of food, and this annual fair sponsored by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, is the leading food trade event gathering over 900 exhibitors with delicacies and the finest selection of foods from every corner of the world.

Another draw for visitors are the series of special events including cooking demonstrations by prominent chefs, forums on a variety of topics such as nutrition and food safety, and games and competitions throughout the five-day event.

The Show is divided into three sections, the Trade Hall, the Public Hall and the Gourmet Zone. The Public Hall and the Gourmet Zone are open to visitors.

Popular themes represented in the Public Hall inlcude:

  • Health, Green and Organic Zone
  • Noodles and Pasta Zone
  • Premium Food Zone
  • Night Bazaar Area where distributors offer their products at discounted prices.

The Gourmet Zone showcases some of the finest foods from around the world. There are four distinct categories:

Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair 2017 - September 5-9, 2017

Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair

The annual Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair is the world's largest timepiece event which offers a remarkable selection of watches and clocks and a preview into the latest designs and trends in the market.

Highlights of this event are the "Brand Name Gallery" which aims to promote brand image and collections and includes the "World Brand Piazza", featuring limited edition and rare timepieces from the major global brands. The Brand Name Gallery is no longer open to the public on the last day of the event where timepieces from selected exhibitors were available for sale. Registration and entry for trade visitors is free at their website.
